I enlisted into the United States Army in 1994 as an M1A1 Main Battle Tank crew member. I was stationed as a member of 1st Calvary Division at Fort Hood, TX. I was assigned as a driver where I earned an Expert Driver’s Badge.
In 1995 I was deployed to Kuwait as part of Task Force 1/5 in support of Intrinsic Action; a mission of continued Kuwaiti protection, post Desert Storm. There, I earned the Southwest Asia Service Medal with Bronze Star.
After leaving active duty, I enlisted into the Illinois National Guard as a Military Police Officer in 333rd MP Co. In 1999 I deployed to Belize in support of Hurricane Mitch relief and rebuilding efforts along side other Army units.
I currently work as for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection / U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
I stand behind my fellow veterans and am honored to serve them.
God Bless the United States of America
